What is the Teaching Consortium?

The Department of Chemical Engineering and the following companies have created a Teaching Consortium to support the development of the Chemical Engineering course at Cambridge. These companies, most of whom have a strong history of supporting teaching in the Department and recruiting its graduates, have agreed to support the Chemical Engineering course at Cambridge financially.

The Consortium companies enhance the Chemical Engineering course by supporting the design project and teaching aspects of professional practice. Their support also enables the Department to provide travel bursaries for graduate students. Further information about the Teaching Consortium can be obtained from Dr. Bart Hallmark .

The Teaching Consortium comprises of the following companies

  • Aker Solutions
  • BP
  • ExxonMobil
  • GlaxoSmithKline
  • Johnson Matthey
  • KraftFoods
  • Procter&Gamble
  • Shell
  • Dow Chemicals
